Logging

Logging is the heart of the timber industry. It is a process which creates a sustainable, environmentally friendly product that we are dependent upon as a society. It is also the heart of our company. Advances in technology have led to safer, more efficient production and we strive to utilize the best combination of equipment for the project. Logging is our primary operation and we do it well.

Land and Timber Purchasing

For many landowners it makes more sense to sell their investment for a fixed price instead of taking the risk of logging and reinvesting in ground that will not be ready to harvest for approximately 40 years. The timber market often shifts rapidly and there is risk in the timing of a timber harvest. This risk can be mitigated by selling a timber deed which guarantees the land owner a price for their timber when it is harvested regardless of what the market is doing. There are many cases in which it makes sense to sell the land as well. We are in a position to facilitate either of these transactions and would be happy to discuss the possibilities.
